Stroke Rehab Forum 2025:
This afternoon workshop is open to inpatient, outpatient and community rehab teams in the Central South Region.
Presenter: Dr. Amanda McIntyre PhD RN
Dr. Amanda McIntyre is an Assistant Professor in the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing at Western University. Her research program aims to enhance nursing health systems and health service delivery across the continuum of care. Dr. McIntyre studies organization, quality, and effectiveness of health care services delivered to patients within several care settings with specific expertise in neurorehabilitation. Since 2011, she has authored 90 peer-reviewed articles and more than 100 published abstracts. Dr. McIntyre continues to work clinically as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario. Dr. McIntyre is currently the Principal Investigator (PI) of a joint grant from the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and Public Health Agency of Canada, as well as the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
